I've been paid less than I expected - how do I get this fixed?

Modified on Wed, 7 Jan at 10:33 AM

Sometimes you are expecting to get paid a certain amount of hours, and you get paid less.  Please do not email us saying - "I'm missing 2 hours".  This won't get fixed - you need to provide more information.

You need to look at your timesheets and your payslip (with a DOS if that helps), to find out which shift wasn't paid or which shift was underpaid.

When you know which shift has been missed or underpaid, then please email the payroll team (payroll@teamkids.comand CC the DOS/service where the shift was worked.

Let them know:

  1. Your employee number (or name as shown on your payslip)
  2. Date of Unpaid Shift
  3. Start time
  4. Finish time
  5. Meal Break time (eg: 30 minutes)
  6. Service you worked at
  7. Reason why you didn't clock in or out, or other reason why you believe this shift was missed

Payroll will check that you were rostered for that shift, and if the service has not advised otherwise, then payroll will organise for that shift to be paid to you, when they are running their next payroll.

We will pay you as soon as we can, but it is rarely instant, so please make sure you are always checking that your shifts have a clock in and clock out, as this is the most common reason for not getting paid, and it is your responsibility.  Please also add comments start time, finish time, break time and hours worked, if you can't clock in or out.
