Is it possible to swap my current shift with another shift on another day?

There are ways to pick up additional shifts or manage your availability:

Pick up more shifts:

Check the “Fill-Ins” section of your ENTO app. Here, you can bid for available shifts by indicating your availability. The Director of the service will review and accept your bid, and in some cases, you may be automatically placed on the shift. If no shifts are showing, it means nothing is currently available, but this updates live, so keep checking as shifts can become available if someone drops theirs.

If you receive messages about shifts but cannot see them in Fill-Ins, it usually means another educator has already claimed the shift. Shifts are often picked up within minutes of being posted.

Expand your options:

If you want to be considered for more shifts at different services or locations:

  1. Visit the TeamKids Venue Directory on our website.

  2. Make a list of services you’re willing to travel to.

  3. Email your list to staffing@teamkids.com.au.

The Staffing Team will update your profile so you can see more shifts.

Contact the service directly:

Using the Venue Directory on the TeamKids website, you can call the service and let the DOS know you’re available. They may be able to offer you additional shifts.

Dropping a shift you cannot work:

If you need to free up a shift you’ve already been assigned:

  1. Open your ENTO app and go to ‘My Shifts’.

  2. Select the shift you no longer wish to work.

  3. Tap ‘Drop Shift’ and confirm.

  4. If the shift is within 24 hours, you must also call the Staffing Team to ensure they are aware.

Set unavailability:

Use the ENTO app to mark days or times you’re unavailable:
