Why haven’t I been scheduled for any shifts yet, even though my casual educator contract states my start date has already passed?

The start date on your contract indicates the date from which you are available to work. This serves as a guide and does not guarantee that you will start working from that exact date. Our scheduling is based on child bookings at each service, and unfortunately, if there are no shifts available until a later date, we won’t be able to schedule you before then.

In the meantime, If you're interested in picking up shifts in your area, all available shifts are posted in the "Fill-Ins" section of your ENTO app. You can click on these shift bids and indicate whether you're available or not. This will notify the Director of the service, who will then review the roster and accept your shift bid. In some cases, you may be automatically placed as soon as you confirm your availability for the shift.
