The Staffing On-The-Day team focuses on making sure all services are meeting legal staffing ratios at all times.
When changes happen during the day, such as cancellations or no-shows, their priority is to keep services compliant and safely staffed.
This means they work off the legal ratios only, which is one educator to 15 children in most states, and one to 11 in the ACT.
Maintaining compliance always comes first, before filling any additional staffing gaps.
