Why do I not have many or any shifts during VAC?

Modified on Fri, 1 May at 1:33 PM

During Vacation Care periods, shifts are mainly allocated directly by service Directors, who create their own VAC rosters.

To increase your chances of getting shifts, you should contact the services you’d like to work at and let them know you’re available. You can also complete the Staffing Availability Survey when it is sent out.

After Directors finalise their rosters, the Staffing Team only fills any remaining gaps using the availability survey responses. Because of this, the survey alone does not guarantee shifts.

We also recommend checking the Fill-Ins section in the ENTO app regularly, as any additional or last-minute shifts will appear there.
